My sweet little Sawyer just had his 18 month check up yesterday. The doctor loved that he had all kinds of scrapes and bruises- proof that he's getting outside and being wild! He was in the 11th percentile for weight, but he was in the 81st percentile for height! It looks like he might end up being a bit tall after all. My doctor was impressed that he had grown 3 inches in the last 6 months and attributed his small weight to the fact that all of his food intake is going directly toward bone growth right now.
Sawyer has a pretty decent vocabulary with words ranging from "ball" to "bike" (bike-uh) to "look at this" and his newest additions which we're pretty sure came courtesy of Hudson: "no" and "mine."
Our little guy continues to be a fearless daredevil and has the bruises and bumps to show it. He laughs a lot, yet has a very serious face to go along with his inquisitive nature. And, also, the whining has got to stop. Seriously. : )
