And a couple of videos to boot

Now that I am finally up to date with our pictures I thought I'd post a couple of new videos...or rather links to videos since it apparently takes forever to post an actual video on the blog:

Here's one of Hudson trying (and succeeding) to get Sawyer to laugh:

This one is a video of Sawyer's latest verbal achievements:
My parents came down for their first visit at our new place.  My Mom took lots of pictures and I even was able to capture her a couple of times for once.

Sawyer is SIX months

Sawyer is officially half a year old and is definitely almost fitting into his 12 month sleeper.  He didn't have a doctor's appt. this month, but he's probably weighing in somewhere between 16 and 17lbs.  He eats everything from baby cereal to pears to squash...pretty much any fruit or vegetable you dare to put in front of him.  He has started babbling and making all kinds of new noises.  And now, the monthly pictures:

Trip to VA

Since we have moved to Northern VA it's been so easy to get ourselves down to Southern VA to visit Jordan's family.  Here are some pictures from our first trip down when we bought our new cars...no, we didn't take pictures of the cars.

This one's for you Dad...Where's Hudson?

Month by month Sawyer progression

Sawyer is 5 months old!

Our little Sawyer isn't so little anymore.  This boy is growing like a weed!  At his five month appt. he was 25 inches tall and weighed in at 15lbs 8oz.   He's rolling all over the place, sitting up on his own a little and being an overall happy baby.  Here are a few pictures from his birthday...I'll do the month by month comparison in the next post.

Our new house

Add ImageHere are some pictures of our new house from right when we moved in...before we added any of our own touches.  We live in a townhouse now which is great...if anyone is running around loudly upstairs it is us and not our super noisy neighbors.  We can't really hear our neighbors when we are inside our house which is a huge change from Staten Island- a good change.  Our building consists of five townhouses and 4 out of the 5 of us have two year old boys.  Strangely one of the other two year olds is named Hudson too...and we thought his name was so unique, or at least somewhat rare.  We know all of our neighbors (in our building) at least a little bit and like them all.  How great is that?  Let us know when you're coming to visit!

Hudson turns 2!

Our little guy is a two year old (and yes, we have definitely had quite a few glimpses of the infamous terrible twos.)  We had a family birthday affair this year since Hudson's birthday fell just two days before moving day.

Awww, what a happy birthday boy

Making a wish?  Or is he plotting about his future in pyrotechnics?

Hudson was obsessed with his balloon, until we moved and left it behind.  Bye Thomas!

Visit with Hill, Mike and Cousin Maddie

Hillary, Mike and their new baby Madeline came to visit in Staten Island.  The cousins got together for a couple of photo ops.  They make a pretty cute bunch...

Catching up...

It's been over two months since I made our last post, so I guess it's probably time to do some updating...  In these last couple of months:

*Hudson turned two
*Sawyer turned 5 months old
*We moved to Fort Belvoir, an army base just south of Washington DC.  Jordan is going back and forth between here and Staten Island while he finished up his job up there and gets ready for his new job in DC.
*We bought new cars...yes, I am the owner of a minivan now and I couldn't be happier!  Jordan got a Honda Civic which is getting him some ridiculous number of miles per gallon
*Sawyer turned 6 months old

I will now update each of these things separately...but that's the quick version...

Onto my next who knows how many posts.  I hope this finds everyone doing great!
